About the Artist
I’ve been behind the camera for almost 20 years, following my curiosity around the world and back again. Along the way my portrait and commercial work has been published in places like Vogue Australia, Marie Claire, Nylon, GQ and Frankie Magazine.
About ten years ago I decided I’d had enough of big cities, bought a one-way ticket to New Zealand, and moved into a van. I fell in love with the wild, and began creating atmospheric imagery that spoke to a slower, more connected way of living. I wanted to capture nature at its most enchanted- fleeting light and landscapes that carry a sense of awe, stillness and belonging.
Ferro Studio is the next chapter of this journey: fine art prints that celebrate the wilderness, created to bring a quiet poetry into your space.
I’ve wandered through some of the most beautiful places in the world with my camera. I’m interested in documenting the earth in its purest, wildest states to deepen my understanding of my place here. These journeys gave me such a distinct appreciation for wilderness and how essential it is that we preserve it.
My hope is that this sense of wonderment is imparted in this collection of images, and instils a desire to protect what we have, before it’s too late.
